AUTHOR
Giovanni Squitieri is a photographer with over 45 years of experience in research science, particularly in marine biology. He began developing his own photographic style at a young age, putting to good use the technical teachings he received from his father. His deep passion for the sea led him to specialize in underwater photography. His path is characterized by an evolution that starts from a solid technical and scientific base and gradually opens up to a more artistic dimension. As emphasized during the session, "I never thought about being an artist and thinking like an artist. Now there is a shift in how I see my photographic work." This transition represents not only a technical change, but also a reorientation of one's professional identity that requires time and awareness.
