Street Photography nominee

As a music producer, I navigate the city through sound, listening for silence, distortion, and ghostly voices lost in the urban rhythm. My camera becomes an extension of this listening, translating auditory echoes into visual layers using in-camera multiple exposures. Each frame begins where a sound disappears. I layer reflections, fleeting figures, and moments of stillness to reconstruct a presence, someone I once knew, or maybe just imagined. This figure haunts the images like a familiar chord, unresolved and recurring. These photographs are not documents but remixes, compositions built from what remains, transforming memory, absence, and urban residue into emotional landscapes. I’m not preserving the world; I’m remixing what’s left behind.
