Travel nominee

These photos were taken during my time at Lollapalooza in Grant Park. I went during 2024 and I fell in love with the emotion and people in the crowds. This year I went back with a camera in hand. I wanted to capture the emotion of the crowds, specifically the raw energy of the mosh pits of some of the sets. The sets that were captured in my photos was Julie, Jane Remover, Otoboke Beaver, and Rebecca Black's DJ Set. I searched for mosh pits in the crowds and went to the center, trying to get the perfect photo. I wanted to capture the music's influence on the people, and how the people's emotion to the music. These photos capture an energy that isn't easy to come by. Young and old experiencing their favorite music, sharing with one another.
