We enter the frame into a seemingly enchanted world inhabited by the mystical deer of a starlit forest. As our eyes begin to focus, perhaps we see a constellation of stars. Gaining our bearings, we zoom in and recognize the beak and head resting on the wing of the seemingly contemplative Double Crested Cormorant.

Dave is an evolving nature and wildlife photographer. Inspired both by the mystery and the beauty of our world, he has always been interested in what is concealed in an image as much as what is revealed. He uses diverse techniques to beg the questions of what, where and why. He experiences the concept of art as a shared conversation – never simply just question or answer but communion.
