The oceans are unwell. Sediments cloud the light, corals bleach into silence, noise drowns the songs of life, and acid corrodes the fragile balance of existence.
From this fracture emerges Thetis — not the goddess of myth, but a hybrid born of intelligence and sea, a sentinel of 2050. She does not speak in words but in encrypted signs: gestures of fabric, symbols suspended in water, and equations transformed into prophecy. Formulas, once written as laws, now drift as fragile signs of a vanishing world.
Her images are fragments of a code: lenses that search, instruments that listen, ribbons that transmit, thresholds that wait. Each is precise, fragile, encrypted — a foretelling of what humanity has set in motion.
The paradox is hers, but also ours: both machine and myth, warning and witness. Within the encrypted forms she carries lies the ocean’s last voice — a message that can still be read, if we choose to listen. To read it is to confront the fragility of life itself; to ignore it is to awaken the very future we most fear.
