Parallel Perceptions is a visual exploration of the hidden geometries that bridge the gap between the organic world and the environments we build. This series, finalized in 2025, is the result of a journey through contrasting landscapes, moving from the raw, natural textures of Costa Rica’s Osa Peninsula to the rigid, structural lines of global urban centers.
The heart of the project lies in the use of diptychs to find synchronicity in unrelated moments. By aligning two different perspectives, I create a single, continuous horizon that forces the viewer to reorient their perception of space. These compositions are not digital fantasies or composites; they are intentional, real-world pairings that reveal a universal language of balance.
My practice is rooted in filmmaking and movement. I approach the camera as a laboratory for the subconscious. Each pairing is an intuitive response to form, seeking the "magic" hidden within our everyday surroundings. The series is an invitation to find harmony in the friction between the wild and the constructed, recognizing the silent threads that connect our parallel realities.
