Corpus Memory (Series)
DESCRIPTION
“Corpus Memory” is a visual meditation on the body as a living archive. It’s an echo — of pain, of silence, of memory that refuses to fade. This series is built on the fragile boundary between physical and emotional trauma. Scars, tensions, stillness — these are the visible traces of what once tore through the invisible. The body is not just a vessel; it is a witness. It remembers in gestures, in wounds, in the way it folds into itself. I explore the anatomy of grief, intimacy, and identity. The subjects are not portraits of individuals, but of states of being. Their silence is not absence, but resistance. At the same time this work is not about pain as spectacle, but about the persistence of experience, about how the body remembers what the mind tries to forget, and how memory carves itself not only into thought, but into flesh
