Submerged Grace (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Submerged Grace explores the intersection of elegance and mystery, placing vintage jewelry into a dark aquatic realm. The composition evokes a sense of sacred stillness, as if time itself holds its breath. It is both a portrait of heritage and an invitation into a world just beneath the surface.
AUTHOR
I was born in Bialystok, Poland, and for most of my early life dance shaped the way I understood the world. I began dancing at the age of five and later graduated in Choreography and Dance Theory from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. Movement taught me rhythm, balance, and the emotional weight of form — all of which eventually became the foundation of my photographic language.
Photography entered my life quietly, at first as a side passion. Over time, it became a new form of choreography, built not on bodies in motion but on objects, atmosphere, and light. Still life and product photography allowed me to explore the subtle narratives hidden in shape, texture, and silence.
A decisive shift happened after presenting my work at the Solo Duo International Festival in Budapest in 2017. I understood then that my creative direction had changed permanently: from stage to image, from movement to stillness.
My work has been recognized by international competitions, including honors from TIFA, PX3, and One Eyeland. These acknowledgments strengthened my belief that photography is where my voice resonates most clearly.
Today, I create calm, sculptural images that echo the choreography I once lived.
