Not far from home, a beautiful patch of woodland hides springtime secrets that burst into life in April and May. One of my favourite places to look for bluebells in Cornwall, it shelters a fragile ecosystem that transforms into oceans of purple and violet in season, framed by an emerald canopy. With the timing right to see the bluebells in full bloom, I kept an eye on the weather to find the perfect window to head over. I was specifically looking for a slightly misty morning, when the diffused light would help to soften the scenery and create a dreamy haze.
As luck would have it, the ideal conditions presented themselves one morning, so I ventured over. Following peaceful pathways through the trees, I focused on creating a shot that paid homage to the bluebells, whilst also achieving a level of symmetry amongst the trees

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Having grown up in the beautiful county of Cornwall, I have had the fortune to see incredible landscapes, seascapes, sunrises and sunsets.
With eleven years of being a Professional Photographer in Cornwall under my belt, I bring dedication and creativity to my work, as well as a determination to create something that has never been seen before.
For me, photography is not simply capturing what is laid out in front of you, it is capturing what is not in front of you, a unique perspective that shows the true personality of the subject. To put it another way, it is not just seeing what is beautiful, it is understanding why it is beautiful and knowing how to best get that mood and feeling across on to electronic equipment.
