"The Goose Foot of the French Alps" is one of the photographs that required the most time and patience from me.
On February 4, 2024, I finally decided to go to the summit of Pic de Morgon for this exceptional view of Lake Serre-Ponçon.
At that time, I had been waiting for the "right" moment for 32 months.
Not just in terms of the alignment of the Milky Way, the moon, favorable weather, limited avalanche risk, or being ready to climb the 1,150 meters of elevation gain in the snow with 24 kg on my back.
But above all, it was about feeling this deep desire to go there, to go with love and not for any kind of performance.
During this period, I was still experiencing chronic fatigue that had started six months earlier.
This fatigue forced me to take a step back and reflect on everything I had accomplished professionally. But above all, to trust me in my decision to open an independent gallery of starry sky photographs, to offer photography workshops and lectures.
And on February 4, 2024, in addition to the many essential conditions met, there was also the profound desire.
