Las Fallas (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Falles are an ancestral tradition, considered a World Heritage Site and celebrated during the winter solstice. In Argelaguer they were revived eight years ago after being absent for thirty years. They include the artisanal construction of torches and the spectacular "baixada de l'Home Escorça" (descent of the Bark Man), a symbolic act that illuminates the longest night of the year.
