This series explores the quiet tension between the human body and the natural world. The figure bends, reaches, and curls as if in conversation with the branches beside her. At times she appears rooted, at times uprooted. The tree becomes both anchor and witness.
I was drawn to the way the body mirrors the language of wood: the curve of a spine echoing a trunk, fingers branching like twigs, hair falling like tangled roots. There is vulnerability here, but also resilience. The nude form is not presented for spectacle. It stands as something elemental, stripped back to breath, weight, and gesture.
The warm earth tones create a shared atmosphere where skin and bark almost dissolve into one another. In some frames, the figure seems to grow from the pot. In others, she seems fallen, returning to soil. These shifting states suggest cycles of growth, surrender, and renewal.
