This is a photographic project that arose from the photographer's passion for combining the body and nature into a symbiotic whole, cultural studies with an emphasis on the pre-Christian native faith prevalent in the Carpathians, and tourism.
According to the author of the project, the body and nature have always been two interconnected worlds, complementing and intertwining each other in a symbiotic whole.
In turn, Slavic mythology, depicting various types of demons, deities and goddesses in the form of beautiful naked women inhabiting their natural habitats, such as streams, rocks, trees and other elements of nature, creates a mystical atmosphere. These are simple photographs taken exclusively in natural light, without any modification with diffusers or other additional light sources. Thanks to this approach, we visualise the whole in the way that our ancestors may have seen it in their imaginations centuries ago.
The tourist aspect is represented here primarily by the author's passion for discovering unusual places that are not necessarily known to mass tourism. However, he definitely prefers to work in secluded places, where it is often difficult to meet anyone, and the prevailing silence and tranquillity allow for the unhurried realisation of specific shots.
