The series is deliberately stark, monochromatic, and charged with tension between the beauty of the body and objects carrying clear potential for threat, pain, and violence. The frames feature ice, a spiky massage roller, a circular saw blade, and a miniature farmer figurine with pitchfork – all placed against the nude, vulnerable body of the model in ways that evoke ambiguous associations: cold, penetration, danger, processing, objectification, control. The photographs employ strong contrast, deep blacks, and selective lighting that transforms the human form into an almost abstract, sculptural landscape. The work oscillates on the edge of eroticism, body horror, critique of the gaze, and symbolic violence – questioning the boundaries of intimacy, power, and the body’s susceptibility to intrusion.
