A silent dialogue within the space of Finnish artist Tiina Kivinen. The taxidermy crow echoes the mezzotint print, blurring the line between the artwork and the observer's reality.
AUTHOR
Filippo Zoccoli (b. 1992, L’Aquila) is an Italian photographer and visual artist. His passion for photography began after the 2009 earthquake in his hometown, utilizing the camera for personal documentation. In 2013, he assisted in the "Confotografia" project, gaining valuable photojournalism experience.
He specialized in documentary photography at ISFCI in Rome (2015), earning a Master’s degree. Currently, he works between L’Aquila and Rome as a freelance photographer, post-producer, and cinematographer.
His projects explore the interaction between humans and territory. Notable works include "Toxic (H)illness" (selected by the CDCA) and pieces like "Breathless," "Roots," and "Skylake," some of which have been auctioned.
Co-founder of "Radici" with Linda Pezzano, he manages this multicultural hub in L’Aquila, which offers art courses and houses an independent bookstore. Zoccoli has participated in exhibitions such as "Dei Nuovi Confini della Fotografia" (Milan, 2018) and documented cultural events like the "Meraviglioso Reale" project dedicated to Letizia Battaglia. His works are regularly featured in art auctions.
