My artistic work is mainly oriented toward still life—a choice that harmonizes with both my personal and professional environment.
At first, my approach focused on highlighting simple objects for their aesthetic qualities, without any narrative intent. However, over time, my practice has evolved toward a more introspective form of photography, where emotion has become the very heart of my work.
Personal experiences have nurtured a deep need for staging and inner expression through everyday elements—accessible yet rich with meaning.
This excerpt from the series “Flower Power – Frozen Moments” illustrates that transition. It captures the ephemeral beauty of flowers in compositions that freeze a moment while still suggesting motion and breath. Flowers intertwine; a gerbera bursts into a fiery mane. Each photograph is a suspended scene—an invitation to see differently and to feel, through the delicacy of flowers, the strength of human emotion.
In my studio in Bouguenais (FR), I stage flowers as the characters of a visual theater. I give them an almost human presence, balancing fragility and strength. Through light, composition, and the photographic gesture, I seek to reveal the hidden poetry of the vegetal world and to evoke a sensitive universe where nature can fully express itself.
