The artist I photographed, Child of Northern Light, has an extraordinary life story connected with the film industry, horses, and creative work. Her career was interrupted by cancer, during which her mother tirelessly supported her. After completing treatment, she gifted her mother her dream trip to London, where, tragically, her mother died. Shortly afterwards, the disease returned and a long period of recovery followed. Nevertheless, she managed to return to making film props and this year she is starting to travel with her horses again. Her strength, humility, and dedication to her work and animals make her an exceptionally inspiring personality.Despite difficult life experiences, she returns to her dreams, even stronger than before.
I asked her what her life experiences had taught her:
"Never try to force things. Not with animals — never — and the same goes for your career and happiness. Don't try to force something that doesn't want to come to you. You can — and sometimes you should — work towards it. But if something isn't meant to be, don't force it."
Also, most problems tend to disappear or resolve themselves at one point or another."
