Living in the Netherlands, I am constantly inspired by the heritage of the Old Masters. With "Red Bow," I wanted to bring that classic atmosphere into a modern portrait. It is a simple study of light and color: the heavy red fabric frames the face, and the soft lighting emphasizes the girl's natural look without unnecessary distractions.

I'm a 45-year-old female photographer and I've been capturing moments for about 20 years now. I'm in love with photography, especially when it comes to people. There's just something about capturing raw emotions and real personalities that I find so beautiful. I have a special place in my heart for fine art children's photography.
