Street Photography 1st place winner

Captured at dawn on my journey along the Camino Primitivo, these images transform the streets of Lugo from a backdrop into a living experience. I sought to explore the dialogue between the rigid stone and the ephemeral passersby, their figures shaped by the morning light.

Through shapes and the play of light and shadow, the soul of the city reveals the fragile essence of a new beginning.

Based in Constanța, Romania, Elena Raceala is an award-winning visual artist and photographer. Her work goes beyond documenting locations to capture their emotional essence, turning everyday scenes into meditative visual experiences.
