My personality is full of contrast, like my zodiac signs rabbit (兔) and lion, like Yin and Yang. The former symbolizing the feminine, the night, darkness, soil. The latter symbolizing the masculine, the day, brightness, energy. The two sides are in constant battle and it's my task to create balance, harmony. I need both of them to be complete, to be able to grow. The series YY visualises this process.

Jessica Prautzsch is a Hamburg-based German Fashion Photographer. After finishing her Communications Design studies, she started her career as a Designer, Art Director and Photographer. Her works have been published in various national and international exhibitions and leading fashion titles, she is represented by art+commerce photovogue by Vogue Italia.
In her photography, Jessica aims to make visible emotions, feelings and moods. She strives to create a certain atmosphere, something that resonates with the audience. To stimulate their imagination is an elementary impulse and goal of her photographic work. For Jessica, the process of taking a photo is already a very important part, cause an emotional bond between her and the model is formed, which shapes the final results of the photo shoot.
With her work she gives impulses and tells fragments of a story, with which the audience can resonate and freely interpret.
