A couple of years ago I was very tired of the explosion of color photography everywhere (webs, social networks, magazines...) and I decided to reuse my primitive analog photographer's look, now with a digital camera in my hands.
New worlds appeared. They had always been there but I could not perceive them because of the contemporary looks imposed by the publicity and media.
Lines, shapes, textures, volumes, gradients... The primitive language of abstraction is everywhere. And a camera is the unique tool capable to catch the light involved.
This is the first series.

AUTHOR
Juan Ais. Spain. 1965. Unrepentant experimenter of various artistic disciplines such as painting, photography, poetry and music; he makes his living as a graphic designer and communication consultant for small and medium-sized companies. His amazement at the human capacity for creativity and innovation has led him to study social and cultural anthropology, perhaps the only discipline capable of bringing all his interests together.
