Sand (Series)
DESCRIPTION
In my sand pictures, you may come closer “to the mystique” in the interaction between sea and sand.
The motifs are taken when the wave pulls back from the beach.
"The interaction" that takes place between the sea and the sand will be frozen - in that moment. Time stops, one second captured forever. The next wave gives you one new unique motif.
People are a part of the interaction in nature.
There's a lot around us we can take part in. So, stop up and look around you.
My sand images are not manipulated. The pictures do not have separate title that can "restrict" you. You may want to see for yourself, the revelation, the crucifixion, the mask, Scream, but it is up to you as a viewer.
AUTHOR
My name is Morten Leine (1967). I was born and raised in Lillehammer, Norway, but moved to Oslo where I worked in the travel industry for many years. The camera was always with me, but then as a hobby. There have been many pictures from various parts of the world.
I work exclusively with natural light in my photographs. This gives me a lot of exciting themes and challenges that I like to work with. It often means that I have to go back to the motives, where possible, in order to get the light I like.
I work only with a handheld camera. I want to be as close to the subject as possible. None of my images are manipulated.
