DESCRIPTION
The rising sun on a stark winter morning creates a symphony of patterns and shadows made from the balconies on a hotel at the Embarcadero Center. The stark light hitting one side of the building and the other side, the balconies falling off with just a hint of reflected light. This is what I look for, the combination of light and structure that creates a new image of a scene often overlooked.
