Architecture nominee

With this series of images, I am investigating my relationship with a man-made environment, the Brutalist architecture of the Barbican Centre. Photography is a way for me to fully concentrate and distant myself from everything around me and there is something with architecture that is soothing for me. The lines, curves, and rhythm - everything has an unexplained affect on me that fascinate me, and this is something I want to document through the photographic medium. Drawing inspiration from my own Scandinavian minimalistic roots, I invite you as a viewer into a dialogue that I can only have through making images. It is a way for me to explore the sense of tranquillity, which is something I am constantly on the look out for when I photograph.
