Conceptual nominee

Inside-Outside is an exhibition composed of nine photographic scenes that are part of the collection Circular Postcards.
The series is focused on capturing distinct geographical locations in an unexpected manner. It is characterized by playing with circularity using the inside and outside of emblematic locations, and provokes a new and unique perspective of looking at well-known spaces.
Due to architectural coincidences that are features of daily life, the collective imagination is marked by notions of civilization and modernity. With a single, wide-angle shot of significant landmarks, the photographer challenges the observations of the human eye through a complete panorama of each of these memorable settings.

Publicist by training and photographer by vocation, Marina is constantly looking to incorporate her powerful artistic inspirations using innovative digital techniques to express with sensitivity, the beauty that is expressed in her path through a unique and honest perspective on life. Marina has a Master’s Degree in Modern and Contemporary Art, a Master’s Degree in Digital Marketing, as well as being a professional in photographic art, illumination and digital tools that she learnt in the Photographic Club of Mexico, the Centre for Visual Experiment, the Academy of Visual Arts and the Sorbonne in Paris. While exploring the corners of Mexico and Europe, discovering stories to add to her visual compositions, Marina collaborates in the production of photographic images and video for diverse television and digital projects in the commercial and documentary fields.
