It's been proven, that the major cause of today's drinking water shortage is the global meat industry. It has been established, that the entire process of making one kilo of red meat, consumes about 10.000l of valuable drinking water. A rather disturbing insight and just one of the various climate problems caused by the cattle industry, which have been widely silenced by the lobbies involved.
The constantly rising numbers of people being able to afford meat, mean that there is a drastic increase in use of water, meanwhile the beverage industry is buying fountains everywhere in the world, turning water into a consumer good. Year by year water becomes less accessible. It is just a question of time until our disproportional lust for meat will leave us thirsty. It's a ticking time bomb.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
Creative work is an ever-evolving journey, rooted in the process of living and the discovery of our world. Exploration of such is mostly at the heart of what Alex does. He believes in the importance of playful moments, tapping into the flow that comes from allowing space for curiosity and spontaneity. This open, often experimental approach invites the unexpected and helps Alex move beyond personal boundaries, leading to visual ideas that aren’t just innovative to him but also deeply personal and somewhat reflective of the human experience. It’s in the moments of free play where creativity unfolds and transforms into something tangible.
Recurring themes in Alex's artistic work often stem from personal experiences, interests, and reflections. Life in its many expressions, space and time, technology as well as creativity are themes which resonate deeply in his explorations and often filter into the work, reflecting a curiosity about the possibilities and mysteries the world holds.
Influences from Surrealism, Magical Realism, and the Bauhaus movement have been key in informing the playful and exploratory nature of Alex's practice, where the blurring of boundaries between mediums and disciplines feels natural.
