During his childhood Andrea started growing his curiosity towards photo cameras. He started shooting with his dad’s analogic Pentax camera mostly during their family trips. At the age of 17, he started working after school hours as an assistant for a few portrait photographers. That’s when he started capturing additional information and learning about illumination techniques, hence feeding more and more his passion for photography. After several years of field experience, he decided to broaden and improve his skills and knowledge through a degree in photography; therefore, he enrolled at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Rome (Italy), where he graduated from with excellent results, especially in the fashion field of photography. Soon after, he published some of his works and he got the Merit Award at the FEP Emerging Talent Award (FETA 2014), an award introduced by the Federation of European Photographers to encourage and recognize the high standard of photography taking place in Europe among young photographers. Later he got an excellence award at the Photography Masters Contest 2016 and the 1st place, Gold Star Award in Advertising: Fashion category and the Advertising Photographer of the Year at ND AWARDS (NEUTRAL DENSITY PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS).
