Serenade (Series)
DESCRIPTION
Those photos are from an editorial shoting for Book moda magazine. High fashion is magical but not easy to creat something different.. just becouse each dress are like a masterpiece that you have to respect totally on your photography. I had on this shooting the idea of using a dancer in the back. Dancer who is like a living dream of the model in the front. I played like that with the dreamed and real world during all thoses photos.. trying to give life of a young girl dream: be a star dancer.
AUTHOR
Artists create images that will undoubtedly evoke emotions, and if nothing else, inspire.
The many strategically placed textures, colors, themes, and beautifully arranged compositions are exactly the things that captivate and stun an audience. Isshogai, does just that... He has an affinity for unique shots. He has been developing his own style for several years, mixing an expressionism Burtonian light with a hands-on approach inspired by impressionists like Monet or Johan Barthold Jongkind: everything which is made directly in situ vibrates with an intensity which is impossible to reproduce in a studio.
Isshogai enjoys saying that a dress is not made to live in front of a white wall, but to accompany the woman throughout her life. The act of taking a photograph is there, to demonstrate a moment of life of this wonderful duo. Everything is summed up in the literal translation of his photographer's name: Isshogai means “for life”. This truely gifted photographer draws his inspiration from children’s stories, movies, and his own life full of incredible adventures.
