Impermanenza (Impermanence) is a research around the relation between the visible and the invisible.

Because of the long exposure time of the daguerreotypes, I can observe the fade of the flowers.

What is visible on the daguerreotypes is the trace left behind by the flower, the footprint of his life, the only thing can survive.

I am an italian photographer and I have been living in Paris for 7 years.
I have worked in different areas of photography, from corporate to portrait, from fashion to still life.

My artistic production began three years ago, having as a starting point the alternative photographic processes, especcially daguerreotype.
2018 is for me the year where I intend to show my work not only to the public in general but also to the professionals of the artistic and photographic worlds.

I am happy to submit my work to you and I sincerely hope this contest can be one of my first steps in my career.
