This particular beach along the Northern California coast arouses feelings of soft solidity and silky reflective waters... moods of round bowl-shaped shadows and flat white light. Slow calming clouds move at a yearly pace… hidden behind a thick haze of morning fog. Peppering the cold moist dark sand are seagulls with busy feet… as if afraid to be frozen in time. Granite rocks eroded by moonlit tides sit still… as if waiting for receding waters… revealing the deeper hidden world of the unseen. Skeletal trees clinging to sand banks are alone. All of these fleeting moments.
