DESCRIPTION
My piece is an interpretation of Ophelia. Failure, exposure, dedication and vulnerability. An inside look to every individual and the necessary death in order to be reborn, wake up, live and love.
The main character is Maria Escobar, a performer that uses her own experiences to tell non linear stories in theater and contemporary dance.
AUTHOR
I studied at Málaga University and specialised in photography, lighting, digital retouch and film. After working at photography advertising studios, I developed my own. In 2010 I received an scholarship from my government and went to Singapore to begin studies as an MFA candidate in Animation and Digital Arts at New York University TISCH Asia, where I used photography as a tool for animation and new media.
In 2013, I came back to Spain and worked as a director of photography in Claykids Animation Tv series, broadcasted in Finland, UK, Mexico, Brasil and Spain. After that, I decided to be myself again, combining photography, video and animation as a way to express myself and tell stories.
