Teton Road (Single)
DESCRIPTION
Grand Teton National Park, USA, captured on Jenny Lake Road in early October, 2016. I had been in Jackson Hole for three days, enduring fog and rain. On the morning of my departure, however, it cleared, and I abandoned my flight at the airport, booked a rental car, and headed into the park. This scene stopped me in my tracks. I skidded to a halt, leaped out of my car, and captured the scene moments before the light vanished and the clouds once again shrouded the mountain. An hour later, the snow would be gone, as well. It was a brief, magical moment in time. The mountain speaks to the beauty of the environment, the clouds and light to those ephemeral moments, and the road to the spirit of adventure and exploration that we all share.
