Night Photography nominee

The night is where a nightmare can become a reality, and where reality can become an overwhelming being. I chose to venture out at night, to see through my lens an interpretation of this phenomena of the darkness, the hours amongst the stars. Outside in the night is not where I find myself at my most comfortable, but it is the time that I ask myself the most questions, where I find the most mystery, and when I feel the most alone, surrounded by the unknown. I photograph to capture the feeling of being surrounded by night, to observe the discomfort, the mystery of deep shadows and locked doors.
