Female Patterns (Series)
DESCRIPTION
My series is called Female Patterns and it contains of a number of portraits of strong, beautiful women and their tattooes. It´s all about the patterns but also about the technique; I´ve used the old school technique of using wet plates. Creating a bridge between the modern women and the old process of photography.
I have photographed the women in both New York and Los Angeles.
AUTHOR
I have worked as a commercial and editorial photographer for over 20 years. I have participated in books like; The Monochrome Home, Kinfolk Home, Colorful, Nesting etc. I studied at International Center of Photography. I have lived in both New York and Los Angeles and travelled the world for work but I am now moving back to my homeland; Sweden, working mostly on personal projects and books.
