Body & Flesh. Consumption and value loss
In today’s meritocracy and throwaway society which is built up only on profit and reason, human beings are deteriorating and becoming consumer goods. Positive values such as happiness, safety, security and friendship are forced into the background.
The only thing that matters is an economic success.
Issues such as factory farming, stock bubbles, ecological disasters, human trafficking, political instability, inflation, and pornography are omnipresent. At the same time, essential social aspects are neglected. As a result, human beings respond to that with increasing violence and bigotry as well as with physical and psychological diseases. This circle of constant value loss is closed by compensation by consumption and again profit orientation.
