The series explores the process of grief using the 'Kubler Ross' model within its different stages of denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. The images place individuals from varying walks of life into grieving moments allowing the viewer to feel empathy toward an emotion that is difficult to relate, understand or communicate with. The stage of grief being experienced is not fully clear or the subject of loss detailed, however within the scenes the pain, loneliness and search for answers is evident, showing that the subject of grief is a personal and painful journey irrespective of who you are.
