The Brazilian Indians intends to show how the first inhabitants of Brazil live today, 515 years after the discovery. The photos provide an overview of the contemporary situation of the indigenous people in Brazil, their rights, their languages and their culture.
The pictures show the traditional way of life of these people who live in harmony with nature, who are those men, women and children.

Ricardo Stuckert, 46, 28 years of profession, was the official photographer of the Presidency of Brazil during 2003-2011.
Ricardo Stuckert also worked in the brazilian newspaper O Globo and magazines CARAS, VEJA and IstoÉ.
In 1997 he received the April Photojournalism Award for an article published in VEJA AMAZÔNIA about the Indians of the Amazon.
