To create this photograph, I was mainly inspired by Guy Bourdin's work. I had the chance to attend the exhibition "Guy Bourdin: Image - Maker" at Somerset House in London and there's where I found my inspiration.
I created this image with the aim to confuse the viewers' mind, whether such an image could have been a lie or something real. My aim was to create an image which couldn't be possibly real but because of its authentic look, the audience would be moved to reconsider whether it could be a reality.
Obviously, today everyone is aware of the existence of software like Photoshop, which can be used to manipulate photos digitally.
Knowing this I still wanted to take the challenge and try catching people's attention by creating such an image.

DESCRIPTION
AUTHOR
I'm a commercial photography student who really enjoys taking fashion shots or portraits and manipulating them using different software. I've been studying photography for several years now. I started by studying media back in 2012 for few years and also did a BTEC in photography. I'm now on a BA Commercial photography degree course at Plymouth College of Art. I'm still working on my skills and always learning new things which help me to improve my work. Between the years 2015 and 2016, I worked with a lot of fashion students and also had the opportunity to show off some of my work in different exhibitions in Northampton. I still have a lot to accomplish and I'm working hard for it.
