Portrait nominee

the beauty of a woman should not be labeled. the true elegancy comes out of the women itself, whoever she might be. why using so many things or tools, to change and form women. Why to make them fit into a picture, which is not real? Just the women itself knows, what her true self is like. And within that she can be the most fascinating creature, you've ever seen.

With those two pictures of Lee I tried to capture her true self. Giving her the space to be just herself in natural light, with natural make up and a white shirt. She decided not to wear it, but to use it, to make a turban out of it.

After her apprenticeship in Munich, she moved to New York as a free photography assistance.
After coming back to Germany she worked for clients in the fields of fashion, portrait, documentary and lifestyle. Until she decided to go an a life changing trip along the Pan-American Highway. With an old VW Bus.
After 10 month of a wild and challenging daily life she returned to her home country and moved directly to Hamburg. Where she now follows her true values. Being a photographer specialized in the fields of fair fashion, sustainable lifestyle and a more natural image of women in this world.
