This photo was taken at Maresias beach this year. This kind of offshore wind blowing on the crest of the wave happens when it meets the best conditions for surfers (a combination of south swell and east offshore winds), where the wave produces the best barrels and it only happens a few days over the year.
I called it Masulo's because it breaks in front of a friend's house whose name is Masulo.

Biography
Born in São Paulo, in 1978, self-taught photographer. Ale graduated in mechanical engineering in 2000. In 2006 he won an analog camera from his father and took a photography course, while traveling the world photographing and since 2012 he has been working professionally with photography, with works in the areas of landscape photography, architecture and still, having made several publications in magazines, currently lives and works in São Paulo - SP.
When he’s not doing his commercial photography work, you can find him likely shooting the sea with his long exposure techniques where he is able to include the time element into his images.
His intention with his art is to embrace the present moment, by being immersed in this meditative and contemplative photography.
