The Wonderful Chaos series is a continuing process. It requires a suitable shoreline with a particular level of wave activity.
I have been captivated by the shoreline from my first photographs - this series is my attempt at representing the ever-changing movement and beauty in a single entity.
The final print is the combination of a set of images captured from a locked-off camera position. Up to 10 individual frames are layered onto one document then, using a photoshop brush, parts of each layer are removed until I am happy that the chaos is in order.

AUTHOR
I make pictures to express how light and shadow shape my creativity. While I do photograph single experiences or light events, I am most attracted by the coast and the horizon for inspiration.
