I have always felt inspired by the stars and by the sea, somehow realizing that the dim lights we see at night is how those stars looked thousands or millions of years ago is a profound realization.
When creating the series "Light from the Past", I wanted to take you to this place on which one unremarkable star showers some lovely patterns of color onto our planet and at the same time millions like it throw some highlights for us to gaze and wonder at their spectacle during the short span of a lifetime that would seem like an instant to them.
This spectacle was not meant for us, but here we are appreciating or ignoring it, and it all comes and goes in a sweet moment that escapes us forever.
