In “Umbrellas” I present the images of people holding umbrellas during rain or snow. There are no faces however the viewer can often times make guesses about the personality of the umbrella’s owner. Having worked on this project for over 2 years, I now can see how each umbrella has a story to tell, and a character to show.
The purpose of this project is to tell the stories of the imaginary world existing for as long as it rains or snows, and we all can see our reflection in it.
All of the images were shot in New York, using a 50mm lens.
