Elke Vogelsang is a self-taught photographer from Germany. When her husband fell seriously ill a few years ago, she used photography as a photographic diary for him as well as a means to try to get her mind off things and to cope with the stressful time. The passion for photography turned into a healing creative outlet. She specializes in people and pet photography, but her camera is her constant companion now.
